Sense of community
Social networks, in which community residents can share information, support one another, and work on common issues, are a characteristic of strong communities. A sense of community, that is a sense that these networks exist and can work for the benefit of the community, is necessary for our region to overcome its challenges and to improve the quality of life for all residents.
