The composite risk maps show the overall risk status relative to the racial composition of each county. Developmental risk levels are likely to rise without concerted effort to rectify income inequality and racial inequities and to improve the reach of early childhood education, health, and family support programs.
Minnesota Early Childhood Risk and Reach was developed by the University of Minnesota (Harris Training Programs in the Center for Early Education and Development) and Wilder Research in partnership with the Minnesota Departments of Education, Health, and Human Services.
