CDC Prevention Strategies - Research-tested public health strategies.

The Community Guide - This guide to community preventive services includes information on programs and policy interventions that have proven effective across a range of public health topics.

County Health Rankings & Roadmaps - Health-related policies and programs.

Evidence for Policy and Practice Information and Co-ordinating Centre - Systematic reviews in multiple areas, including education, health, and social welfare. Part of the Social Science Research Unit at the Institute of Education, University of London.

Health-evidence Canada - A registry of systematic reviews on the effectiveness of public health and health promotion interventions. Includes some environmental health interventions.

Healthy San Bernardino County & Healthy Communities Institute - Promising practices database for multiple topic areas.

Lifecourse Interventions to Nurture Kids Successfully (LINKS) - A reference for effective child and youth programs.

National Guideline Clearinghouse - Evidence-based clinical practice guidelines compiled by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP) - Searchable registry of interventions supporting mental health promotion, substance abuse prevention, and mental health and substance abuse treatment. From the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) Model Programs Guide - A database of scientifically-proven programs that address the entire continuum of youth services from prevention through sanctions to reentry, including substance abuse, mental health, and education programs.

Promising Practices Network - Features summaries of programs and practices that are proven to improve outcomes for children.

Results First Clearinghouse Database - Provides information on the effectiveness of interventions as rated by eight national evidence-based databases. Topics include: criminal justice, juvenile justice, child welfare, health, mental health, education, substance abuse, and youth development.

Social Programs that Work - Includes information about social program interventions across an array of topics, including early childhood through postsecondary education, housing, employment, crime, and health and mental health. Sponsored by the Coalition for Evidence-Based Policy.
