The number of homeless people in our region reflects our capacity to provide stable housing for all of our residents. Stable housing and supportive services can increase a person's potential for education and employment, and enable people who are ill or disabled to move forward with productive daily living. Our region's homeless people include veterans who have served our country, and children who, without stable housing, are at increased risk for homelessness as adults.
