Ignition Interlock pilot program
Under this voluntary program, an ignition interlock device is installed in cars of repeat drunk drivers. They must blow into a mouthpiece and it must give a sober reading for the cars to start.

Juvenile Detention Alternative Initiative (JDAI)
A national juvenile detention and systems change model that results in reduced racial disparities and reduced daily populations in secure detention without increases in either re-arrest or failure to appear rates.

Minnesota HEALS (hope, education, law, and safety)
Focuses on gun violence prevention.

Partners for Violence Prevention
Al link for families, health care, and community organizations to develop and nurture a culture of peace in St. Paul and surrounding communities.

PEACE Foundation
The PEACE Foundation is creating a grassroots movement toward the common goal of significantly reducing violence in isolated, local communities where pronounced disparities exist, starting in North Minneapolis.

Social problem-solving skill training (1)
- Reducing racial disparity in the criminal justice system: A Manual for practitioners and policymakers
  The Sentencing Project, January 2008, 74 pp.
  Presents information on the causes of disparities in the criminal justice system and examines what actions can be taken among criminal justice professionals to reduce disparities at each decision point in the system. The report includes best practices from the field, including two from Minnesota, that have been demonstrated through empirical analysis to show promising results in reducing disparities.
