Seven county and nonprofit agencies implemented six programs. Key aspects of the programs that appear to be beneficial are hiring and retention of culturally specific or culturally competent staff, culturally specific programming and training activities, intensive and compassionate case management, family-focused services, and participant incentives and supports.
