These relationships are key developmental assets that research has shown to help young people avoid risky behaviors, develop resilience, and thrive on their paths to adulthood. This measure shows the percent of students who perceive that there are adults outside their families - including teachers, coaches, youth workers, mentors or others - who care about them quite a bit or more.
